The airfield café is in the building where you pay the £10 landing fee and buy museum admissions. Typical UK "pub style" food, tea, coffee etc.

First, don't be fooled by the OpenStreetMap or Skydemon diagram that shows defined runways: the airfield is literally a large open field with no defined runways. It is quite difficult to spot, as it has some livestock buildings running along most of the northern side so does look like just a random farm field unless you manage to spot the windsock, which is on the museum grounds immediately north to the field itself.
The airfield is worth visiting for the museum, which is home to the Lancaster "Just Jane" which is being restored to an airworthy condition. There is also a very interesting set of exhibits from the Linconshire Aircraft Recovery Group who dig up old wrecks from WWII and the period immediately afterwards.
The grass is in reasonably good shape (firm and level) but the grass is about the length you would expect in cow pasture - while not a STOL field, it may not be suitable for aircraft that need a relatively long takeoff roll. PPR is required due to museum events.
