A nice friendly well functioning airport - unusual for Greece!
Rare in having customs+immigration. Has avgas until end of Oct. Currently the best way to enter Greece if you need avgas (Sitia is N/A for international flights due to covid :))

The town is very nice. Lots of young people and stuff going on. The lake is nice and a boat trip to the island is recommended.
