Very scenic area when it’s not raining. Very friendly and helpful staff. Relatively little traffic - flying school, SAR helicopter but no commercial flights anymore. Full Tower ATC although non radar. LPV approaches at both ends recently approved. Few facilities onsite, no cafe. Car hire available in town. Plenty of tourist accommodation and attractions in the area and perhaps better to stay outside the town away from traffic congestion.
