Landing fee included a vectored ILS off airways. Comparatively quiet regional airport with full services, controlled airspace, radar etc. Recently rebranded from Durham Tees Valley to Teeside International, and also a change of name for radar/tower radio services. Expect to park on Western Airport with short minibus ride to the GA gate/lounge (plenty of space as shown in photo). Handling is mandatory but at a reasonable price. Jetcentre now owned and operated by the airport, recently branded as Stobart but no longer the case. Modern lounge and facilities. Staff very helpful, came in at weekend to see us off despite few other customers. Overall the airport seems to have been rejuvenated since last visit, more commercial flights taking place. Eden flight school next door was open for training.
