Good airport for GA with ATC used to light GA traffic both VFR and IFR. Parking for light GA on good quality grass (apron B) -- no gravel or potholes. No GA terminal, but there is an aeroclub at the apron. Entry/exit via code lock gate with the code posted airside. Self-service 100LL fuel station accepting credit cards. No handling or security hassles whatsoever.
The GA apron is 2.5 km from the main terminal with no transportation facilities, but it is only a 10 minute walk to the closest petrol station (Circle K Visby Broväg) which has car rental. The city centre is 2.3 km away.
Visby is, of course, a wonderful destination.
