This was a fuel stop from Croatia (LDSB) to UK (EGKB). A very slick and smoothly operating airport, as you would expect with the bizjets there. Everyone is smart and nice. The only issue I had was that the self service avgas pump had French-only instructions and it took me ages to get someone who could help. Well, there was one of the many French ATC strikes and it took me hours to hack a suitable Eurocontrol route with a VFR segment through the region on strike! They have options of hard parking (which I nearly always request unless ridiculously expensive) or grass parking. I did once park on the grass and it was pretty rough. I am informed (6/2020) that the hard parking is mandatory for foreign arrivals into France so do check this out. Also Cannes is operating the pointless and time wasting myhandling.com booking system; this may be avoidable if you park on grass. The €31 is called landing, parking and "passenger" fees but I had no passengers.
