This was a EuroGA fly-in. We spent ages trying to organise enough parking; two French speaking people were involved and in the end we didn't really know if it would happen, but it worked out OK. The police in the terminal had no idea whether they wanted to see us or not (coming from the UK).
The 100LL pump is "totally owned" by a based flying school and they let you use it only if they don't need fuel. When we turned up we could not get it to work, ATC refused to get anyone to help, and only after a well connected French colleague made a phone call did a man walk up and operate a switch inside the pump :)
In the end it all worked out.
The city is outstanding and with lots to see.
