Really friendly, easy to use, GA airport with a long runway. English spoken. FISO with TIZ zone that you report entering/departing from. Quick response to email for PPR. We got a follow-me car on arrival, chocks and bollards placed. There is a separate small building for GA away from the main terminal building. Stafff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. They can order a taxi and add to your bill, and it's a similar price to paying direct. 24/7 security onsite. VFR only. An extra fee applies if you arrive after 6pm local. Per adjacent is a small village with a few facilities, but Gyor is the main town about 20 mins away by road, and has a wider choice of restaurants and hotels. Immigration/customs not required now that Schengen has expanded but beware if you do use it, there is a reported of a cost of around 200 Euros.
