Just spent a weekend at Perugia. Very few posts on this airport anywhere so I decided to put this up. It is a great little semi-commercial airport. The trouble is that, like other airports in and around Tuscany, they limit parking to 2 hrs!!! This despite the airport being completely deserted in the winter months and there being many acres of apron around and about. You can see from the miniscule airport fees above that they have no incentive to increase traffic as there is no money in it for them.
I was lucky enough to snag a spot in a friend's hangar there, which is the only reason I was able to stop over.
The handling agent is very friendly, but do do have to to stick to the time you have said you will want to transit the airport to get back to your plane.
Apparently in summer it turns into a zoo with CAT. Assissi is nearby and Perugia is a gorgeous place to visit.
