Terminal was open with a on-duty firefighter, even on 25 December, until 17:00 LT. No TWR ATC (closed for the holiday) but IFR approach can be done in "auto-information" (in French only). Weirdly the approach controller didn't know TWR was closed, and was also unable to give the METAR AUTO that could readily be downloaded from all the usual METAR sources...
City Centre is a short bicycle ride away. Secondary road passing right at the terminal has a bicycle lane, but it was quite contaminated with small gravel so I used the main lane. The whole way to the City Centre is bike paths, parts just a bike lane, some a track separated from the road. City Centre is bike-friendly, many outdoor bike racks to leave one's bike.
Christmas market was overloaded, long queues.
