Very welcoming, their chief pilot was on site and helped me fill up. No landing or parking fees. The field is on a hilltop, great view over the town.
On arrival the airforce base in Luxeuil LFSX was closed so I could approach from the north at will and stay IFR until 5 minutes out.
On departure LFSX was open, I had to fly around their airspace. Filed DCT EPL, but my initial clearance was DCT RLP and then vectors around their TMA.
