Modern and good VFR facility with a lot of (commercial) pilot training, closer to the city than the regional airport nearby. Controlled airspace above requires relatively low level approach unless cleared through, and there are danger areas to be aware of. That said, it was very easy to arrive VFR. Tower is manned during operating hours with a radio only service. Plenty of parking. The airport is fenced off, so ensure you find the correct way in/out. We used Bolt taxis to/from the city centre, relatively quick easy and low cost.
