Exeter is a nice destination for a day trip and a walkabout.
The town is lovely and historic. Then there is a really nice part near the river, with cafes etc.
To book yourself in, just phone ATC on +441392354916. That bypasses any handling :) Then when flying back, you pay at the flying school Aviation South West. This is as before but the school has moved and is now next door to the passenger terminal.
Yellow jacket is mandatory and when airside you must follow the walkway :)
