I was here for a business meeting and I half-wished I had looked into LFSB Basel for the VFR flight.
The airfield is VFR-only and has no complications at all. One could get fuel during business hours (someone told me). The field isn't busy and parking on grass isn't a problem. What bites you is the taxi fare to Basel city and (worse) back to the airfield. I paid 54 Eur for to Basel and while coming back 100 Eur. The taxis are a lot more expensive in Switzerland. If you must, go for Uber both ways and expect to pa around 50 Eur for each transfer.
