This was a visit to Merida and Badajoz was the nearest airport.
It went OK but the fuel facility was closing 1300 UTC so I departed the UK in the dark in order to make it in time. Having arrived it turned out this was not the case; the fuel man will wait as long as necessary if you pay cash :)
A vast parking area... It is one of many heavily subsidised Spanish airports which have virtually no traffic.
