Sleepy airfield, usually deserted: the club has few members and only one aeroplane. Because of this fuel will probably need a phone call in advance. 2km to the east the railway line cuts through a wood which makes it easier to find. The runway is on a bit of slope, downhill 05 uphill 23, with a little hill obscuring short final 23.
Apparently you can sleep at the airfield (never tried), or there’s a couple of gîtes within walking distance.
Saulieu the town is 10 minutes’ drive to the north and is marketed as the capital of the Morvan regional park. The main attraction is the small Pompon museum which has his art, local history, and visiting exhibitions (the famous polar bear sculpture is in Paris).
