Surrounded by restricted areas but in practice these aren’t a problem. Seeing a friend who was working in a holiday resort so free transport and accommodation. Otherwise there is Avis hire car a few minutes drive (nothing to do near the aerodrome). Stayed in self-catering room with views over the golf course; we visited Pernes-les-Fontaines and L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, but not Carpentras. Took the friend for a local so landed twice, but only charged for one, and not at all for parking. Good views of the Mont Ventoux as soon as you take off.
Also used a few times as a convenient stop for fuel and flightplans going to and from Corsica.
