This was a EuroGA fly-in http://peter2000.co.uk/aviation/burgos/index.html
The airport took some organising to accept ~10 aircraft, done with the help of a Spanish speaker. They also confirmed they would have avgas. When we were about to arrive they "discovered" they had only ~200 litres left... I was the first to land so got most of it. They discovered the pump meter was broken so I got fuelled via measuring buckets, with the airport manager doing the buckets :) All very friendly but took hours.
It is like a lot of other Spanish airports. Employs loads of people but negligible traffic. And almost no GA in Spain anyway; the UL community dominates but flies largely between grass strips.
So a really great airport but do your due diligence beforehand on avgas etc.
The town was really excellent. We all enjoyed it. Very "old Spanish" and 10/10 scenic. The flight was amazing too, with great photos of the mountanious terrain on the way.
