A really nice airport. Everything worked perfectly.
Initially there were issues with avgas, which was officially not available and one had to go through the aeroclub, and cash only. I arranged all that but when I landed everything was easy and credit cards were accepted. I heard that since my visit the "aeroclub arrangement" is official. Check the hours during which you can get avgas however.
An interesting instrument approach hich I flew in VMC.
The airport needed various health declarations sent in advance.
The town is well worth a visit too.
This was a "check out" flight for going skiing because Bolzano is a good airport for the Dolomites (Madonna, etc).
