Good stop to visit Dordogne area. Sarlat well worth a longer visit, much to see and do. Would recommend a rental car for a longer visit, but not used this trip.
Canoe day trips for novices available on the Dordogne 1hr/3hr/4hr with pickup and return to starting point (independent, not guided).
