What a gem this airfield is, fabulous location and cycle tracks everywhere to Pembrey Sands and Burry Port.
Good friendly Welsh welcome by the airfield owner Winston who has had a lifetime in aviation and is a real gentleman.
12km long beach is 7km by bike, maybe less on foot along the tracks across the fields.
Open weekends by call to airfield and weekdays by calling MOD the previous day for a clearance, all as Pembrey Airport website and AIP.
To get the full experience enjoy a long walk along the beach and take in the fresh air ... priceless
