The airfield can be hard to find from the air, so careful attention to reporting points is not only necessary, but helpful for navigation.
Note that there is very often parachute activity at this airfield and you may be asked to wait while they descend.
There is also quite often a downdraft just before 29 so be ready for it.
Landing fees can be paid via self service credit card machine at the base of the tower.
There is a very capable maintenance company on the field if needed (LFZ Wartungsbetrieb Krems).
As previously reviewed, the restaurant on the airfield is really good.
The code to get back out of the tower and restaurant is four even numbers in increasing sequential order.
Transport options are nicely covered by previous review. I will only add that there is a bus stop on the main entrance to the airfield that I've used in the past for a few Euros that goes straight into town.
Parking can definitely be found on the tarmac in front of the tower.
