Very basic cafe in the "terminal". Much better options in the town - 20 mins' walk.

The airport is ok. ATC is busy. Ground security staff are manic; if you walk 20m away from the aircraft they get really excited. Grass parking only, no fuel, no maintenance. If you got major damage, say a prop strike, it may well write off the aircraft. There are a couple of hangars, in poor condition, but I have no idea of who owns them etc. I would certainly assume no hangarage is available. Be very careful with the upslope at the start of 09. It is easy to do a hard landing on it. It may be better to skip that bit and land on the remainder. A wonderful destination, and perfect for GA travel. Really scenic. Lots of boat trips to the other islands. Most accommodation is found only via the tourist office; the stuff on booking.com etc is just the overpriced "junk". In the high summer, accommodation is hard to find.This trip was done in the coronavirus era and the islands had only just opened to visitors.
