Weekend trip to Bregenz with an UL. Approach east of Bodensee is rather scenic but can be challenging with strong winds and gusts. Friendly and helpful personal, even tried to find someone at the airport that could drive us to Bregenz. We ended up taking the bus to Dornbirn and continued our way to Bregenz by train. Restaurant looked modern and busy with a great view onto the ramp and runway - did not eat there. Fuel is very cheap and therefore a good fueling stop for an alpine crossing.
