We arrived VFR via W1 2000' AGL and got a straight in approach for a landing on runway 12 and a short taxi via T to the GA ramp. There was not a lot of traffic at the airport. We were picked up to get to the GA terminal although it's probably only a 2 minute walk (you have to pay the ramp handling fees either way). No security checks. Ljubljana city is a 25 minute drive from the airport. The taxi was a flat fee of 30EUR.
The city is nice and I can recommend the "open kitchen" for food (Odprta kuhna, only Fridays). You can probably cover the city in a day or two.
