This was a EuroGA fly-in. Writeup here: http://peter2000.co.uk/aviation/astypalea/index.html The airport was totally laid back like they all are on the little Greek islands. It has a limited timetable, with just 2 flights from Athens or some other islands, so one has to stop somewhere suitable enroute so the opening hours line up. The €20 landing fee shown was after "negotiation" with a Greek friend; one official handling quote was more like €200! The Greek pilots who arrived of course paid nothing :) I had arrived from Samos LGSM so had nearly full tanks. On the way out I filed for Corfu LGKR to clear Greek exit Port of Entry but there was a wall of CBs along the route so I diverted to Dubrovnik! The island is beautiful. We stayed in the town of Chora and had a great time.
