A super friendly airport, with avgas, avtur, ILS, a nice long runway. Very helpful ATC.The area is nice to drive or cycle around. Sort of pleasantly decrepit back of beyond on the beaches :) Just a few feet above sea level so unless their is fog this makes a good alternate for Shoreham etc.
They are a bit fussy about booking instrument approaches; they tend to allow only 1 per hour because schools book them for multiple approaches. But the schools often don't turn up so you can usually get a practice ILS (for £20) by calling them up airborne.
They do have hangars but I don't know the procedure for getting a space.
