Good opening hours. Good ATC with radar equipped approach and tower, ground rarely in service. ILS only available for runway 19. Ensure you have the parking chart to hand after landing - you will likely be parked on the main apron with a specific stand number. There is a large fixed AVGAS tank on that apron too. Prior departure, it is common to do power checks to the east of C3. When leaving airside, there are many signs directing you the main building, but actually you need to exit via the business terminal on the north where you pay landing fees. It appears GA visitors can no longer use the executive jet passenger or crew lounge areas and instead have to wander around inside the main terminal looking for the GA briefing room which is much more basic. The airport is a 15-20 min taxi ride to the railway station which has good services to London.
