Coming from Hungary, intended to stop for lunch at the airport restaurant, known from a previous visit.
Unfortunately, the restaurant operator decided the day before to take vacation and didn't notify the aeroclub in advance. So we arrived to a closed restaurant and after a short break just carried on to our next stop, Sinj LDSS.
A good airfield for visiting Osijek, since situated right on the edge of town and only a short taxi ride. Uncomplicated and quiet, compared to the main Osijek airport which has fuel and customs but not much else going for it, being a long taxi ride from town.
NOTE: airfield is PPR, so prior contact is absolutely necessary, but permission is normally received.
