Great little airport located just at the border between Germany and Switzerland on the eastern edge of the Bodensee(Lake of Constance). Customs/immigration available when filling in the online form on the airports homepage latest 90 minutes before landing/take off(10€ fee per form submitted) Very reasonable landing and parking fees. Make sure to read up properly on the homepage regarding approach paths, and also be aware of noise sensitive areas on approach to runway 05 (mostly used rwy), information available on homepage The airport staff (TWR) can call you a taxi when requested. Rental cars available if pre-planned, and the rental company will drop the keys off in the twr. Call airport for details. The train system in the area (Rheinthal) is very good. Great connections to ski areas St.Anton/Lech and Innsbruck. Easy to connect into the Swiss(St.Margrethen ) or German(Lindau) train system.
