Hvar airport LDSH provides a good opportunity to land and park your aircraft in a beautiful corner of Croatia.
The runway is made of a hard dry soil and is quite flat. Besides the usual types one would expect at such places we saw also a DA42 as well as Pilatus PC-12 parked there.
AIP is straightforward and explains arrival and departure procedures well.
If you land at Brac LDSB first to refuel and do immigration, and if you depart from rwy 21, you are in for a spectacular take off. Just after you cross the runway end, the ground below you disappears and an abyss opens five hundred meters deep. You hold your breath (I did) and then pull the throttle to descent to Hvar, as it is just a few minutes away.
Do not forget to use your pitot cover :-)
